Presson is designed with privacy at its core. We collect minimal data necessary to provide the service and do not sell, share, or monetize your personal information.

When you use Presson, we collect:

• Device identifier: A randomly generated ID stored on your device to identify your account without requiring email or password.
• Display name and username: Optional profile information you choose to provide.
• Check-in data: Your daily effort levels (1-5), optional notes, and optional photos/videos you attach.
• Friend connections: Information about your friend relationships within the app.

How We Use Your Data

Your data is used exclusively to:

• Provide and maintain the Presson service
• Display your check-in history and statistics
• Enable friend features (if you choose to use them)
• Send push notifications (if you enable them)

Data Storage

Your data is stored on secure servers. Check-in notes are private and never shared with friends. Friends can only see your effort level and any media you attach, not your personal notes.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. Your data may only be shared:

• With friends you explicitly connect with (limited to effort levels and media)
• If required by law or legal process

Data Retention

Your data is retained as long as your account exists. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from the Profile settings in the app.

You have the right to:

• Access your data through the app
• Delete your account and all associated data
• Control your privacy settings (profile visibility, feed visibility)
• Opt out of notifications

Children's Privacy

Presson is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
